ENVELOPES

The unique structure of Tyvek® is the basis for creating the most durable envelopes that provide the highest protection against punctures, tearing and moisture. Very light envelopes reduce mailing costs.

Already in 1967, in the USA, they began to make envelopes from Tyvek®, and by 1970 the demand for them, thanks to high strength, low weight and “prestigious” appearance (paints on shiny white Tyvek® look bright and alive), has grown rapidly. These envelopes are used by several public and private postal departments and delivery services.

For envelopes production is mostly used Tyvek® item number 1056K.
